As a teenager, Maryan Grimm had a strong interest in art. She studied fashion at world acclaimed ESMOD in Paris and started her career as a fashion designer in the 1980’s. Some of her designs were sold in Paris at major department stores such as "Galeries Lafayette" and "Printemps" and published in "Elle" and "Cosmopolitan" magazines. They were also displayed on billboards throughout Paris.
